Waste transit via Montenegro

The transit of non-hazardous waste can be carried out by a company or an entrepreneur only on the basis of a permit issued by the Agency.
License conditions
The permit for the transit of waste through the territory of Montenegro is issued by the Agency based on a request that specifically contains:
- information about the applicant (name and address, that is, name and seat);
- specification of the types of waste to be transited, the amount of waste in kg or tons;
- waste entry border crossings (one or more) and waste exit border crossings from Montenegro;
- waste movement route through Montenegro;
- the contract of the transit organizer with the exporting company and the contract with the company that processes the waste, i.e. the recipient of the waste

Legal remedies
Against the decision on registration in the register of collectors, an appeal can be lodged with the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North within 15 days from the day of its receipt and through this authority.
