Production, marketing and use and storage of biocidal products

The activity of production, circulation, use and storage of biocides can be performed by legal entities that are registered to perform that activity in the Central Register of Business Entities and that meet the requirements in terms of personnel, space and equipment.
License conditions
The request should contain: the name and seat of the applicant; the name of the biocide that will be produced, placed on the market, used or stored; purpose of biocides; and data on preventive measures to be taken for the purpose of safe storage and use of biocides.
- Title deed or contract for the lease of the premises in which the activity is carried out.
- Evidence of registration for the performance of that activity in the Central Register of Business Entities and other data, at the request of the Agency.
Special requirements for qualifications
Evidence for at least one employee, under whose direct supervision the use, i.e. production, circulation and storage of biocides is carried out, with the completed VII level of the national qualification framework in the fields of: medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, technology, forestry, agronomy, biology or chemistry, depending from the type and purpose of the biocide.

Permits
Decision on carrying out activities of production, placing on the market and use and storage of biocidal products
Term: Unlimited, unless the conditions for the termination of the Decision (permits) are met.
Legal remedies
An appeal can be filed against this decision (permit) to the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, within 15 days from the day of its receipt, through this authority.
