Measurement of noise levels in the environment

Measurement of noise levels in the environment can be performed by domestic and foreign legal entities and entrepreneurs, based on a permit issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.

License conditions

Permits for measuring the level of noise in the environment are issued based on the request of a domestic or foreign legal entity or entrepreneur.

The following shall be attached to the application for the issuance of a permit:

  • Proof of registration in the authority responsible for registering business entities, i.e. in the corresponding register of the competent authority of the home country of the foreign legal entity or entrepreneur;
  • Accreditation certificate according to the MEST ISO/IEC 17025 standard in the scope covered by the accreditation.

Legal remedies

An appeal can be filed against this decision (permit) to the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North within 15 days from the day it was delivered.
