Issuance of authorization to fly with a passenger

The holder of the authorization to fly a paraglider with a passenger has the right to carry out a paraglider flight with a passenger.

License conditions

  • The request for issuing the appropriate authorization is submitted on the form established by the Agency.
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years old;
  • The candidate must hold a paraglider pilot's license for at least two years;
  • The candidate must have a total of at least 100 hours of paragliding flying, of which at least ten different paragliding flights;
  • The applicant must complete the training for the acquisition of the authorization to fly with a passenger;
  • The candidate must pass the assessment of the ability to carry out flights with a passenger, which is carried out by an assessor authorized by the
  • Agency for carrying out the assessment of the ability to carry out flights with a passenger.

Special requirements for qualifications

  • Proof of completed professional training for obtaining a paraglider pilot's license or corresponding authorization;
  • Proof of successfully passing the paraglider pilot's license exam or corresponding authorization
  • Evidence of a successful paraglider flight;
  • A valid medical certificate (which was issued in accordance with the regulation regulating the health capacity of aircraft crew members or which was issued in accordance with the law regulating road traffic safety);
  • Evidence of a passed assessment of ability to perform flights with a passenger.

Fees

Registration of authorization to fly with a passenger: 250 EUR

Administrative fees: 5 EUR

Legal remedies

Possibility of appeal to the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs within 15 days from the date of delivery of the decision. The complaint is submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency with a EUR 4.00 administrative fee.
