Issuance of a paraglider pilot's license

In Montenegro, a paraglider can be operated by a person who holds a valid paraglider pilot's license issued by the Civil Aviation Agency, or a valid paraglider pilot's license obtained in a member state of the European Union, in accordance with the powers entered in the paraglider's pilot's license, or holds a valid IPPI or APPI international identification of the paraglider pilot, and in accordance with the authorizations written in the permit, i.e. identification.

License conditions

  • The request for the issuance of a paraglider pilot's license or corresponding authorization is submitted on a form determined by the Agency.
  • The applicant must be at least 16 years old;
  • The applicant must complete professional training to obtain a paraglider pilot's license
  • The applicant must successfully pass the paraglider pilot license exam

Special requirements for qualifications

  • Proof of completed professional training for obtaining a paraglider pilot's license or corresponding authorization
  • Proof of successfully passing the paraglider pilot's license exam or corresponding authorization
  • Evidence of a successful paraglider flight
  • A valid medical certificate (which was issued in accordance with the regulation regulating the medical fitness of aircraft crew members or which was issued in accordance with the law regulating road traffic safety)

Fees

Permit: 30 EUR

Administrative fees: 5 EUR

Legal remedies

Possibility of appeal to the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs within 15 days from the date of delivery of the decision. The complaint is submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency with a EUR 4.00 administrative fee.
