License conditions

• a business company, i.e. an entrepreneur, can engage in tobacco processing if it is registered in the CRPS for the performance of tobacco processing activities;
• has appropriate premises for the purchase of tobacco, accommodation of purchased tobacco, processing and classification of tobacco;
• has equipment for processing at least one type of tobacco;
• has a laboratory for the analysis and determination of tobacco quality, i.e. a signed contract with an authorized laboratory;
• has appropriate professional staff for tobacco processing;
• has signed contracts with tobacco manufacturers;
• that the company/entrepreneur and responsible person in the company, in the last three years preceding the submission of the application for the issuance of the approval, has not been convicted of the criminal offense of illegal trade, that is, of the criminal offense of illegal production of tobacco, processed tobacco and tobacco products;
• pay an administrative fee of EUR 20 for a decision on the fulfillment of the conditions for a tobacco processor;
• pay an administrative fee of EUR 10 for registration in the register of tobacco processors;
• request for the issuance of a permit for processing tobacco.
