License conditions

• The request for the issuance of a license is submitted on the form prescribed by the conditions for the issuance and/or certification of licenses, to the ministry responsible for geological research;
• The license is issued for a period of five years and is verified every year;
• The company must be registered to carry out the work of geological research projects, geological research and geological documentation;
• That there are at least 2 (two) graduate engineers in geology, in the appropriate field, who have at least 3 (three) years of work experience in the profession and have passed a professional exam;
• In the technical control (revision) participate geological engineers, of the appropriate field, with at least 3 (three) years of work experience in the profession and a passed professional exam;
• The revision of the geological research project cannot be carried out by a business company, that is, by another legal entity or a person who participated in the development of the project;
• After the audit, a report on the technical control of the geological research project is drawn up, a clause (audit clause) is added to the project, which confirms that the project was carried out in accordance with the law.

Special requirements for qualifications

• Evidence-Excerpt from the Central Register of the Commercial Court of Montenegro on the registration of a business company for designing, performing one basic type of geological research, that is, for performing several types of geological research, and for which also the preparation of geological documentation;
• Statute of the company with activity code;
• Proof of completed higher education (certified copy of university diploma) for geological engineers;
• Proof of passed professional exam - certified copy of certificate for geological engineers;
• Evidence of professional work experience for geological engineers and jobs they have worked on;
• Data on the employment relationship of the engineer in the company (employment contract and certified copy of the work book);
• foreign persons should have a residence permit in accordance with the law regulating the employment and work of foreigners, a certified photocopy of a passport instead of an identity card and a certified photocopy of a corresponding license from the country of origin, instead of a certificate of passing a professional exam.

Fees

License: €500 for issuing a license
License: €150 for certification of the license of the company
Taking the professional exam: Funds for the work of the commission for taking the professional exam are provided by the candidate or the company-institution where the candidate is employed, and are paid to a special account of the Ministry responsible for geological research, in the amount determined by a special decision.
In the earlier period, the amount of expenses per candidate was approximately €200.
