Development of mining projects or parts of projects


-- ENERGY AND MINING --

Mining projects can be developed by a company with the status of a legal entity, that is, another legal entity that has a license to develop mining projects (in the following text: the holder of the project development);

Technical documentation is prepared on the basis of the project task, the results of investigative works, analyses, reports and other documentation that elaborate and analyze technical (urban planning, energy, water management, traffic, geotechnical, seismic, etc.) and economic conditions for the performance of works, fire protection conditions and explosion, environmental protection, water protection and occupational safety and other conditions affecting the evaluation of technical-technological and economic justification of exploitation and performance of mining works.

License conditions

  • the holder of the project should be registered (activity code) for the development of mining projects;
  • that there are at least 2 (two) graduate engineers from the field for which the project is being developed;
  • the license for the development of mining projects is issued by the Ministry in charge of mining (hereinafter: the Ministry) based on the request of a business company;
  • the license is issued for a period of 5 (five) years and certified every year;
  • mining projects (main mining project, supplementary and simplified mining project), as well as their constituent parts, are signed by the persons who, as responsible designers, managed their creation;
  • The development of mining projects can be performed by a person who has a high school diploma in the mining profession, 5 (five) years of work experience in technical management, supervision and other professional jobs in the mining facilities for which the project is being developed;
  • The development of certain parts of mining projects can be performed by a person who has a high school diploma in the appropriate profession, 3 (three) years of work experience in technical management, supervision and other professional jobs in the mining facilities for which the project is being developed;
  • The development of mining projects can be carried out by a person who has passed the professional exam for performing work in the field of mining - authorization, which is organized by the Ministry;
  • A person employed in the legal entity that issues the conditions for the development of the project (water management, geological, energy, traffic, environmental protection, sanitary), as well as a person employed in the Ministry, cannot participate in the development of the main and supplementary mining project.

Special requirements for qualifications

  • evidence - an extract from the Central Register of the Commercial Court on the registration of a business company for the development of mining projects or parts of mining projects, for managing technical control or technical control of parts of mining projects;
  • proof that there are at least 2 (two) graduate engineers in the mining profession in the appropriate field (employment contract, insurance application and certified photocopy of work book);
  • proof of the required higher education of a mining engineer - certified photocopy of the faculty diploma;
  • proof of the required length of service - confirmation of at least 5 (five) years of work experience in the performance of professional work in the development of mining projects or management of the control of mining projects;
  • proof of the required length of service - confirmation of at least 3 (three) years of work experience in performing professional work on the development of parts of mining projects or technical control of mining projects;
  • proof of passing the professional exam - a certified photocopy of the Certificate issued by the Ministry;
  • foreign persons should have a residence permit in accordance with the law regulating the employment and work of foreigners, a certified photocopy of a passport instead of an identity card and a certified photocopy of a corresponding license from the country of origin, instead of a certificate of passing a professional exam.

License – €600 for issuance

License - €200 for certification

Taking the professional exam: the cost of taking the exam, as a rule, is borne by the company where the candidate is employed. If the costs of taking the exam are not borne by the company where the candidate is employed, the costs are borne by the candidate. (Article 11 of the Rulebook on the program and method of taking the professional exam in the field of mining).

The Commission for taking the professional exam in the field of mining, which is established by the Ministry by Decision, informs about the amount of the candidate's expenses.

In the earlier period, the costs of passing the professional exam amounted to around €200, per candidate.
