Point of Single Contact (PSC) is a portal created in each EU member state to facilitate entrepreneurs in starting business in the field of services, not only in their country, but also in the territory of the entire European Union. It provides complete information on the procedures to be followed, the requests to be submitted to the competent authorities, the possible costs of those procedures (in the form of fees or other charges) as well as the relevant legislation. The establishment of PSC is an obligation of all member states in accordance with Directive 2006/123/EC on services in the internal market.
The PSC can help when you plan to start a new business or expand your service business in your own country or another EU member state.
In addition to providing comprehensive information services for local companies, one of the main tasks of the portal is to help foreign companies obtain key information about the business environment in Montenegro.
If you want to do business in another EU country, you will find the relevant point of single contact on the Commission's website.
A point of single contact in one place provides useful information on conditions for:
Freedom to provide services after joining the EU: For registered companies and entrepreneurs from other EU/EEA countries in many service activities and professions, the freedom to provide services on an occasional and temporary basis will be enabled, without the obligation to register a business entity in Montenegro.
PSC was established through the EU IPA project Increasing the capacity of institutions harmonizing and implementing EU acquis in the area of Competitiveness and Innovation
