Service Activity Licenses

Conditions for conducting activities depend on the specific sector or profession. In many cases, the scope of requirements for cross-border service provision (on a temporary and occasional basis) differs from those on a permanent basis (with establishment). Also, for a number of professions, the recognition of relevant professional qualifications is enabled.

Absence of Sectoral Conditions

Conditions for conducting activities do not exist for many business services (e.g., consulting, marketing, public relations, design, IT, accounting, etc.). It is not necessary to obtain a permit to provide these services.

Cross-Border Service Provision

If you already have an establishment registration in another EU/EEA country, after Montenegro's accession to the European Union, the freedom to provide services on an occasional and temporary basis will be enabled, without the obligation to register an establishment in Montenegro, or to obtain a service activity permit.
